  • Horrible customer service

The honda financial department is very unhelpful. I had called to submit a request and followed their rules to do so. They told me someone would be giving me a call and after a couple of weeks went by I decided to contact them. The woman told me that since they called and I was unreachable that the request was denied and now have to spend more money to file the request again because they messed up. When I asked for a manager they said someone would call me but they never did. So guess what I'll be doing this weekend? Instead of shopping for a new Honda I will be visiting their... More...

  • Tire issues

I've had trouble with rumbling sounds on road from tires. When I took car to dealer I was told it was unusual wear on my tires and that I needed to replace them. How does a car that is only 2 yrs. old and average mileage have "unusual" wear on tires? I just replaced all four tires, which was a financial burden, and the car is fine. But I believe there is something more to this story that Honda is not disclosing about the vehicle mechanics that caused this unusual wear on tires. I have been a faithful Honda customer(5 Honda's),but now I am regretting having purchased this... More...

I have a 2013 Accord EX-l W/Navi. Back in Nov. 2013 I noticed the Traffic Information/Incidents stopped working. I went to my selling dealer, they contacted Honda, unable to fix the issue. I've been in contact with both dealer & Honda Tech Spt, Dealer is waiting on Honda to fix the issue, Honda says its a FM broadcast that is not working in my area. Honda has stated more than once it's been sent to Engineering, they don't know who is responsible for the signal. I stated Honda advertises the feature, someone at Honda has contacted someone in my area to provide the service.... More...

  • Customer Complaint : N012013-010700558

I have a 2003 Honda Odyssey that I bought dealer certified in 2006 with 60k miles on it. I have driven it in regular driving conditions in city suburbs and highways. Last few days, the van started giving jerks while driving. Last Saturday, the TCS indicator and Check Engine light came on and the van started giving more jerks while driving. The vehicle was having issues accelerating. The next day I took to Honda dealer and he diagnosed it as P0730 : Incorrect Gear Ratio. They did not say much more about this except that it needed a new transmission. Found out from local transmission shops... More...

  • 2008 Honda Civic Paint Job

I would tell anyone, do not purchase a Honda, I contacted American Honda 26 Oct 12. about the paint cracking, and not only in the areas they would warranty, the fenders and hood, but my car is fading/cracking on the roof, trunk and side doors, and Honda will not even take care of a 2008 Honda Civi. I would never, never purchase another Honda, These 2008 civic are poorly painted and Honda knows it, all you have to do is google the car, and you will see pics of cars. I took my car to the dealer in Fayetteville, NC and they saw how badly it was, and still would not take care of the car.... More...

  • Catalytic Converter

The catalytic converter on my 4 cylinder 2003 Honda Accord EXL was replaced under the 8/80 warranty on 7/10/09 at Joyce Honda, Denville, NJ. The car had only 67,187 miles on it. Now, less than a year latter and after only 18,348 miles on that genuine Honda replacement part, Aron Cooper, the Joyce Honda service manager, says it needs to be replaced. He says that the code P0420 came up after the mechanic diagnosed the reason for the check engine light to come on. That is an extremely short life span for such an environmentally important part. It is also an extremely short life span for an... More...

  • That's the Brakes!!!

I have a 2009 Civic LX which currently has just over 18,000 miles. I was starting to notice that my brakes were squealing. I thought that maybe my calipers were sticking on the driver’s side, so I took it in the Carey Paul Honda in Snellville GA to have it checked out. One of the service tech gave me a call about an hour later and said that my calipers were fine and said that I just needed to have my pads replaced. I asked him “Isn’t that a little premature?” He stated that they were not covered under warranty and would cost $225.00 to put on new ones. He stated that... More...

Honda Buyers Beware! We have a Honda 2007 Honda Pilot. Our air condition was not working well so we had it serviced because we were going out of town. We were told that if all it need to have done was it recharged was would be a cost envolved. They recharged the unit and stated it was fine. This was on done on April 30,2010. We left on a 15 day vacation on May 7th, there was only one day over 80 before we left. The air failed while we were in Georgia, with in approximately 14 days of the recharge. • POOR QUALITY

Honda recommends at 7years/105,000miles to perform Timing Belt preventive maintenance service on 1997 Accords. At 7 years and 36,139 miles, I had the dealer replace the four belts and the working water pump that is driven by the timing belt, and is behind a cover. Earlier this year, just over five years later, I noticed coolant leaking under the car. The dealer replaced a leaking water pump and the four belts. The new replacement water pump began leaking as soon as it was installed! So they had to take off the four belts again, replace the leaking water pump with another new water... More...

Carbone Honda of Utica, NY sold me an '09 Fit 10 months ago. Part of the deal was that they would install an aftermarket cruise control when one became available. One (or more) have been out for months now and, despite repeated calls, Carbone has neither installed it nor refunded my money- they made both promises, at various times. ALSO, they sold me a car with a battery too small to start it in typical cold winter conditions. It is about the size of a motorcycle battery and when it gets to 10, the car barely starts. Below zero, it's no go, while; my 9 year old car and truck... More...

  • Never again

I have purchased 4 Honda's recently for my wife, my children and myself. This is the first time to purchase a Honda and will be the last. Our dealer (Huggins Honda) is a thief and does not provide the service they claimed they would provide. The cars are not built soundly and many problems have shown up with body panels, pain, mechanical issues and electronics. I put myself through college to become a scientific engineer while working as an auto mechanic. Yes, Honda at one time did offer a wonderful vehicle for its customers but that time has long gone. Other that have... More...

  • 2006 Honda Civic EX

My wife and I purchased our dream car; a 2006 Honda Civic EX two year ago. We have a large extended family with six new vehicles. 3 of these vehicles are Honda, 2 are Acura and only one Toyota. My family and myself are very loyal Honda customers as these are the best vehicle out there in many ways; best value, environmentally friendly, cool looking, particularly reliable etc. Unfortunately our newest purchase has not met our standard Honda experience and expectations. We have had many problems with this car. Some of the problems can be listed as: 1. We have been keeping... More...

Carbone Honda
Address: 5009 Commercial Dr, Yorkville, NY 13495
Phone:(315) 736-7310

I recently moved and needed a 4wd vehicle. I traded in my car for a 2011 Honda CR-V and was foolish enough to take their Salesman (Tim Clark) at his word that he would add Btu-tooth to the vehicle if I took the deal.

Well now they are saying that it was not supposed to be free and want more money from me.
I tried to talk to one of the sales managers which flat out told me if it was not in writing then it was not approved.

I will never do business with them again.

Lesson learned, get everything in writing as they have no consideration for their customers.

Reviews on 2013 Honda Odyssey
Likes:
• Bluetooth HandsFreeLink
• Rearview Camera
• Side doors open & slide easier
• Improved fuel economy

Dislikes:
• Lack of drink holders for Driver & Passenger – I would prefer 2 drink holders in the slide out tray over the drink holders on the floor. It is very inconvenient and unsafe to have to look away from the road onto the floor to retrieve a drink in those floor cupholders.
• Inadequate Front seat center console mounted flush on the floor. Is it possible to purchase a better console to replace the one in the LX with a better one that comes in the EX or EXL models? So far I cannot locate another option to make this workable.
• Removal of floor storage compartment in 2nd row. I LOVED that compartment – it was great for storing umbrellas, flashlights, raincoat, etc… that were not needed daily, but were easily accessible.
• Removal of dash compartments -- there is extremely limited front row storage in this new model.
• Reduction in size of the front door compartments – hard to fit umbrella, etc…
• Removal of the option to arrange the 2nd row seats to allow the pass through opening either on the passenger side or between the seats. I LOVED that you could slide the 2 seats together on the 2006 Odyssey and that left a nice area for placing large items such as a cooler during long trips in the 2nd row where it was accessible.
• Removal of 3rd row side compartments – there is no where for ipod, small games, etc.
• Unbound, raw-edged splice in carpeting in 3rd row – there are STAPLES and raw edges exposed which I am sure will fray and deteriorate quickly. Very poor.
• Lack of floor mat for the 3rd row -- esp to cover the raw-edged splice in the carpeting. This was available on previous Odyssey models.

I have a 2009 CRV with 13,000 miles and the 4 brake rotors whorped and honda, bridgewater will not give me new rotors. I know with reground rotors I will be back in 10,000 miles to replace again. Honda has defective brake rotors on CRV in 2009. I will never buy honda especially from this dealer.
